Mission agencies and church networks are of necessity organizations whose operations are embedded in various structures and value systems.

As the environment of world missions changes the need for clarity concerning organizational vision, values, and structural alignment increases.

At present there are many environmental changes that are pushing mission agencies and sending denominations toward both a reconceptualization of the task and finding new adaptive organizational structures.
